Yesterday i thought i would be a good little wife, and go get my husbands car serviced for him. When i got there they said it looked like it needed to get the radiator flushed and other crap, so what ever I know it has never been done so fine ( it has 103,000 + miles). So $145.00 later i am on my way. Well this morning i had to go to work and drove the car. I had smelled something the whole way to work, but i just thought it was oil that they had spilt on the engine and it was buring off, but as i was driving i almost thought i has smelt gas, but my mind went back to the oil burning. So i am living work to go someplace else and what do you know my car brakes down in the middle of the road. I was so pissed off. Luckily it finially restarted and i managed to make it back into the parking lot. But the funny thing is, when i started to work i had a 1/2 tank of gas and when my car broke down i had under 1/4 tank of gas. I only had to drive 10 miles.

well i would have bet that it was the stupid service station who did it, so i made my husband call them and ask them. they of coarse said "oh we dont mess with anything that relates to the fuel" but they had some guy that works there, on his day off, come and check it out. (big eye roll) Well he fould the problem right away. The fuel filter wasnt snap in. I was so pissed off. I have learned my lesson on going to the stupid quicky lubes. Never again, Never Again!

I hate car problems. You are lucky to own one with just over 100,000 miles. Keep it away from Jiffy/Quicky Lube and those minions who work there and you could extend its and your own quality of life.

Glad to see you are keeping up with your once-a-month posting. See you in April.
