well this weekend eric and i and eric's friend DRU is going to attempt to put up the rest of our fence. here is the story......lucky for use the neighbors have already put up fences around their lots so we only really have to put up two gates and then 18 feet along the side of the house. When we moved into our brand new house we had no landscaping, my husband and i were always arguing about whether to do it our selves or pay to have it one. i of coarse always wanted to pay to have it done by a professional but my cheap ass husband always wanted to do it ourselves to save money. well we did save a long of money. we saved about $1,200 dollars doing the sprinklers and laying the sod ourselves, but it is just not as good as i wanted it to look. there are a few dead spots in the lawn and we are always adjusting the sprinklers. and i cant figure out how to read the timer so were have to turn them on manually and time them from the inside so it is a pain in the ass. but last summer i got a quote for the fence and it was going to be $1,500 my husband had a cow about that so this summer i got a quote from another place and it was going to be $2,000. so here we go, putting up a fence ourselves when none of us have ever done it before. i feel that i am going to need a lot of alcohol to make it through this weekend. wish us luck and i well let you know how it goes, hopefully it doesnt start raining so we can actually start it!

maybe your husband would like to save the extra money by learning something new, just think whatever extra you save the more you can spendon yourself.
