well eric has been bugging me to make a turkey. he likes them because then we end up having a lot of food in the house for about a week or so. we can have left overs, turkey sandwiches, turkey noodle soup (woo.. i am starting to sound like forest gump but instead of shrimp i am talking about turkey!) well you get the picture. It is very true but i just dont like cooking them (this is my second time "attempting" to make one) because they take so long and you never really know how they are going to turn out. but it turned out that the turkey was edible and my favorite part was the skin (of coarse) because i took the foil off of the turkey for about an hour and half instead of the half hour the recipe said to do. and boy was it crispy. yummy. yummy. Along with the turkey i had made some asparagus with hollandaise sauce and of coarse brown turkey gravy, and mashed potatoes. The worst part out of the whole meal was the potatoes. I am not sure if i was getting impatient of my hand mixer is a piece of crap but boy were those babies lumpy. Maybe it was a little of both. But since my hand mixer was a hammy-down given to me about six years ago i think that i might go out and purchase me a new one!
